Get Creative Today!
I love to make wreaths with MANY decorations, ribbons, etc. I have a lack of confidence in knowing how to position unusual pics, bendable glitter rope ribbon, strands of beads and whatever else I can add. Do you have any suggestions on a “how to” guide/video to help me get up to speed or gain confidence in decking out! my wreaths (green/evergreen (artificial) or deco mesh)? Thanks
I believe that wreath making is more of an art than a science. Sometimes that old adage “Less is More” rings true. Other times it seems that the wreath could always use something more. My suggestion would be just to experiment and test your designs by using family and friends for feedback. When one of our designers completes a new design, they will hang it up in the store and we will all look at it up close and then far away. Usually by just backing away and looking at the wreath from a different angle, you will be able to tell if it expresses what you were going for or if it “just needs something else” .If you add an item just ask yourself, “Did this add to the beauty of my wreath, or did it just make it look ‘too busy?’”. Keep in mind though, that it is YOUR creation and only YOU know when it is truly finished. You are like a painter with your wreath frame being your canvas and your imagination being the brush.Feel free to send me some pics of your wreaths and I’ll be glad to give you my humble feedback. I would LOVE to see them!
is there a video or instructions for making the mesh rose wreath?
We haven’t recorded a video for the rose wreath. Here is a video of a flower wreath that is similar. You may be able to modify it into a rose. Hope this helps.
thanks, I love adding the smaller mesh that way, it makes it very pretty and adds fullnss.
